Prof. Alan Suggett (Chair)
With extensive experience of operating at the interface between science and business, Alan Suggett recently retired from his long standing role of Technology Director at Smith & Nephew plc. He is now acting in a consultative capacity, and in addition to chairing the Scientific Advisory Boards at Photopharmica and Smith & Nephew, he is also Chairman of the Medical Devices Faraday Partnership.

Dr. Susan Morley
Susan Morley is a Consultant Dermatologist, Honorary Senior Lecturer and Clinical Research Scientist at the University of Dundee. She has extensive experience in Clinical Dermatology and is a renowned expert in the treatment of chronic wounds. Her research interest centres on the biology of keratinocytes and their role in wound healing, inherited skin fragility and skin cancer. She has had several industrial funding grants and has written many peer reviewed papers.

Prof. Hubert van den Bergh
Hubert van den Bergh obtained his BA at the Williams College, Massachusetts, his MSc at the University of California and his PhD at the University of Cambridge (UK) in physical chemistry. He worked from 1970 to 1973 at the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen and then joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in the chemistry department. He was nominated professor in 1990 and is director of the Laboratory of Atmospheric Pollution and Climate Studies. One of his research interests is photodynamic therapy of cancer and age related macular degeneration. He is the author of about 200 peer reviewed publications and 15 patents. He was awarded the prize of the Swiss Chemical Society in 1978, the Ruzicka prize in 1986, the prize of the Swiss Society of Biomedical Optics in 1989 and the prize of the ILRC in 2000. He is also a member of the executive council of the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Prof. Brian Wilson
Brian Wilson, Professor of Medical Biophysics at University of Toronto, Canada, is a biophysicist with 20 years experience in bench-to-bedside research and development in PDT. He directs a broad-based program in optical diagnostics/therapeutics and is a founding member of 3 start-up companies in the biophotonics field. He is recognised as world leader in light dosimetry in photodynamic therapy.
