The Company has quickly become the pioneer and global leader in photodynamics-based approaches to antimicrobial therapy in the clinic. This approach works by a completely different mechanism to antibiotics and is effective against antibiotic resistant organisms including MRSA.

- March 2010 - Photopharmica is pleased to announce that recruitment to our Phase IIb chronic leg ulcer trial has now reached the 25% milestone. Interim results are expected Q3 2010.
- February 2010 - Photopharmica has received a Notice of Allowance indication for a USA patent application that covers the Companys key business areas.
- January 2010 - Part 2 of Photopharmicas Phase IIb trial is now ongoing.
The Company's new technology, designed to meet unmet medical need in new and existing markets has led to products that already demonstrate good safety profiles and promising efficacy results in patient populations.
